Opening Hours

  • Sunday – Thursday: 10 am – 8 pm
  • Friday and Saturday: 10 am – 9 pm

* Private events need to be agreed upon upfront and can last until 2am max

* Suitcases, large umbrellas, and large backpacks are not allowed in the Museum. Please note that we do offer coat check and bag storage at our ticket counter on the first floor.

* Strollers are permitted in the museum

  • BY CAR

    Visitors traveling by car can park at the CityCenterDC garage located on 9th and H street. If you park in the 9th street section, the elevator from the garage will take you right in front of our location.

    Visitors traveling by metro can exit from Gallery PI-Chinatown and walk down H street to our location. MOI Washington is just a 2 min walk away from the metro station.

    Visitors traveling by bus can take the following buses to reach out location: 70, 74, 79, X2.

  • PARKING

    Visitors traveling by car can park at the CityCenterDC garage located on 9th and H street NW or 11th and H street NW. If you park in the 9th street section, the elevator from the garage will take you right in front of our location.

    The Museum of Illusions offers a 33% discount for validated parking tickets in the City Center Garage.

    Parking is also available at the Victor Building, located at 920 H street NW. Reservations can be made using the Parking.com app

*Requires identification at the door. Children ages 4 and under do not require a ticket for entry. Children ages 12 and under must always be accompanied by an adult during their visit. Taxes and fees are additional.
