Museum of Illusions Washington DC

It is so much fun for kids, but also for adults too. Very interactive, and there are a lot of staff to help with how to see and do the illusions. We spent about 1.5 hours there and that was perfect for our busy day. Would recommend if you want something to do with the kids. Buy tickets in advance and easy to do online.

We received complimentary tickets for the Museum of Illusions through the Westin Washington, DC Downtown, which is located just a couple of blocks from the museum.

We arrived just before the museum was scheduled to close early for a private event that evening, but the staff graciously allowed us to enter and to enjoy the exhibits at our leisure while they prepared for the event, which we greatly appreciated.

Paulhett, a member of the museum staff, was simply amazing. Our experience at the museum would not have been the same were it not for her kindness in taking photos for us and showing us how best to capture the images. Frankly, we were a bit clueless as to how best to capture the effects in many instances, but Paulhett was always there to show us how to make the photos turn out right.

Didn't know what to expect before visiting this museum but I have to say, it was definitely a treat for the visual senses.
