Museum of Illusions Washington DC

This museum was amazing. Very interesting and unlike other museums, it never got boring or uninteresting. I came with my family. We all said it was great. Our ages range from 3 to 40. I suggest going early in the morning because there was very little people there. Also, it is not that big so you don’t want to skip over anything. The guy at the desk was also extremely nice and helpful

I loved this museum! My 4-year old enjoyed it but probably would have gotten more out of it if she was a bit older, so I appreciated that kids under 5 were free. Just had to give my name at the door so I didn’t even need to pull up my tickets on my phone. I went in the middle of a random Tuesday and it was actually really crowded! Not sure why someone put in their review that they didn’t like the pride decor; it was only in one exhibit, it was June in DC, and it was literally just rainbow balloons… so I feel like I have to compensate by saying that I loved that pride was incorporated. Anyway, gift shop had a small but nice selection for kids and adults. Staff were available to take pictures and help you get the most out of the museum. Will definitely come back when my daughter is a bit older!

Got free tickets from our stay at the Westin across the street.
